GET MARRIED. GET UNIFIED.

Learn how to get on the same page before your wedding.

Every wedding needs a unified vision

Congratulations! Getting married is a big step in your relationship, and deserves to be celebrated with your closest friends and family. For many couples, planning a wedding is the first time they have to really work together as a team. Even the most committed, amicable couple can find the juggling of budgets, family expectations and logistics overwhelming as the big day draws near.

Before deciding on the location and menu of your wedding, it's healthy to sit down with your partner and ask each other these questions:

  • Why do you and your partner want a wedding? What does it mean to you?
  • What kind of social setting do you or your partner enjoy? What social setting makes you or your partner anxious?
  • How do you and your partner want the wedding to feel? For yourselves? For your family? For your friends?

relationship coaching before THE wedding

At this important time in your life, it helps to make sure you and your partner on the same page before your big day. Making a unified decision about your wedding before you start booking venues and hiring caterers can reduce the amount of stress on your relationship as the special day draws near.

our reviews

Sean & Eli "Our lives were chaos and things were tense between us. UDM helped us to find the common threads in what we thought were conflicting priorities, and to start envisioning new possibilities for our future together. And to our surprise, the future that we initially wrote off as a pipe dream became the one we're now building."

Anna & Charles "UDM showed us that we did not need to have a wedding before we had a baby. It was helpful to see our partner's values spelled out so clearly for each other. It has given us a new tool that we are likely to use the next time we have a big couple decision to make."
