What is a unified decision?
A unified decision is when two people disengage from the tug of war, and start walking down the same path. They are based on these values:
- Recognize that you and your partner share the same goals and constraints
- Be honest about what you and your partner really want, without making assumptions
- Equal commitment towards achieving the best outcome for the relationship
